Commonfig Features: New Tools for Your Success

It is the belief at those at commonfig that quality relationships are vital for both personal fulfillment and business success. Far from being a place where service providers are limited to simple networking, commonfig strives to be a place meant to inspire and enable users to really connect with others, both potential clients and other professionals. For this reason, we’ve implemented some new features designed to give you the ability to show other users a more complete picture you as an individual. Weblinks Aggregator When other service providers and service seekers view your profile, our weblinks aggregator section gives them the option of following you on various social media outlets, as well as reading your blog, visiting your website and viewing your web-based profiles. When you are in the editing mode, you can easily add the web addresses of your various homes-on-the-web by clicking on the weblinks box directly to the right of the box containing your address. Fill in the website information that you prefer, and save. This functions as a bookmark of sorts; those interested in your site and online presence need only to view your commonfig profile, and your sites and feeds will be at their fingertips. Social Media Feeds Do you do any marketing via Facebook or Twitter? If so, be sure to check out our new social media feed section. By activating your Facebook and/or Twitter feeds, other users can interact with you on these sites from your commonfig profile. The benefit to your readers is that they can see everything that you’ve recently posted without logging into another site. The benefit to you is that you need only post something on your preferred social media outlet, and you’ll know that your commonfig followers will see it! This feature allows you to portray a bit of your personal side to those who view your profile, giving them a more complete picture of who you are, and setting the stage for a business relationship. Video Sometimes what you say in a video is more easily received and understood than what you write. A video gives the viewer an effort-free way to see and hear what you’re all about. This is also your opportunity to put a face and voice behind the name of your company. Upload your video or embed it from YouTube, and give your readers a new way to interact with you. Power Partner As an entrepreneur, it is vital to network and build relationships with other professionals in your area and in your field. You can now use the Power Partner feature to find and connect with others. Stay tuned for a post later this week for more information on this important and helpful new feature! Other Features As always, commonfig offers you several ways to show your followers what you and your brand are all about. Be sure to fill in your profile to make it as complete as possible; the more a potential client knows about you, the more likely he is to trust and recognize your name and to contact you when he needs the services that you provide. Choose a professional-looking photograph for your profile, and fill in your attributes. Also, take advantage of the opportunity to upload portfolio pages filled with documents that will show potential customers what you can offer them. We’re excited about commonfig’s new features, and we’re sure that you will be, too! Sign up today for your free membership if you’re not already a member, and experience for yourself the difference that a solid social media presence can provide, in terms of both your personal and your business relationships. If you already have a commonfig profile, log in today to update it in order to take advantage of the newest features. We anticipate that these recent changes will make a big difference in the site’s benefits and ease of use.
